About You

You are a proactive DevOps Engineer who enjoys building, automating, and maintaining reliable cloud infrastructure. You take ownership of environments end to end from access management and CI/CD pipelines to Kubernetes workloads and you thrive in fast-paced environments where stability, security, and scalability are critical. You’re looking for a role where you can grow your cloud expertise, influence infrastructure decisions, and collaborate closely with engineering teams.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred), or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency with AWS services, particularly IAM, RDS, and EKS.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Solid background designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with microservices architectures and container orchestration concepts.
  • Experience with scripting and automation using Python and/or Bash (desirable).
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, permissions, and access management.
  • Advanced English proficiency, as you will collaborate with global and US-based teams.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

  • Provision and manage AWS accounts, organizational permissions, IAM roles, and cost monitoring.
  • Manage and support both employee and organizational infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure operations.
  • Handle workstation setups, configurations, and deprovisioning during employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Implement, manage, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for consistent and repeatable deployments.
  • Oversee AWS IAM roles and permissions for users, services, and applications.
  • Maintain and optimize microservices infrastructure on AWS EKS.
  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support secure, reliable, and efficient deployments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and automation.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, security, and cost optimization.
