You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Analyst, with previous experience in a lead or coordination role (desired).
  • Solid experience with API testing.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (nice to have).
  • Hands-on experience testing mobile applications, including device farms, emulators, simulators, and physical devices for iOS and Android.
  • Working knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools (nice to have).
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test planning, and risk-based testing.
  • Ability to define quality metrics and evaluate testing effectiveness.
  • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency, as you will work directly with US-based clients.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

  • Provide quality assurance services to assigned clients by designing, implementing, and executing test cases.
  • Develop, review, and maintain test policies, standards, and testing strategies across projects.
  • Plan testing activities based on test objectives, risks, and project scope.
  • Coordinate test plans with Project Managers, Development Managers, Agile teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of tests, monitoring progress, results, and exit criteria (Definition of Done).
  • Prepare and deliver test progress reports and test summary reports to stakeholders.
  • Define and track quality and testing metrics to measure progress and product quality.
  • Report defects, findings, and ambiguities, supporting prioritization and criticality definition.
  • Support the selection, implementation, and improvement of testing tools and processes.
  • Promote and advocate for quality best practices and the QA discipline across the organization.
  • Coach and mentor QA team members to strengthen technical skills and testing maturity.
