About You

You are a Senior QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about delivering high-quality, stable, and reliable software products. You thrive in environments where quality ownership, automation, and continuous improvement are core values. You enjoy reviewing technical specifications, designing customer-focused test scenarios, and collaborating closely with Product and Development teams to ensure excellence across the entire software lifecycle.
You take pride in writing clean, maintainable automation code, creating clear documentation, and proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.
• Strong experience with automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, WebDriverIO, and Cypress.
• Experience with API testing and API automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Experience or familiarity with mobile testing using Appium.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to create and maintain clear, structured QA documentation.
• Experience in travel, airline, or e-commerce platforms. (Nice to have) 
• Performance, stability, or reliability testing experience. (Nice to have) 

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Plan, analyze, design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scenarios and test data.
• Review and analyze technical and functional specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Design, implement, and execute automated tests for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Configure and execute customer-focused test scenarios aligned with business requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and report defects clearly and effectively.
• Ensure overall product stability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA team members throughout the SDLC.
• Support the definition and execution of test automation strategies.
• Monitor test execution progress, results, and exit criteria (Definition of Done).
• Automate the generation and delivery of test progress and summary reports.
• Define, track, and analyze quality metrics to continuously improve testing effectiveness.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.
