This opportunity is for a temporary contract (2 months), collaborating directly with our client’s engineering team.

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of professional Java software development.
• 4+ years of professional experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
• Experience deploying and managing applications in Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for backend and Azure App Service for frontend.
• Proficiency with Docker for front-end and back-end services.
• Experience working with Application Gateway and Storage Accounts.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL Databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version management systems (Git).
• Experience writing unit tests and following best practices for quality.
• English proficiency is required.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Participate in collaborative concept definition, architectural refinement, and software design.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Deploy and manage applications in Azure, leveraging Kubernetes, App Services, and supporting cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security across microservices.
• Follow agile practices, with the ability to work independently and as part of the agile team.
• Collaborate with QA, design, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing throughout the SDLC.
