You bring to Applaudo the following competencies: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • 3–5 years of experience managing end-to-end technology or software development projects.
  • At least 1 year of previous experience as a software developer or in a technical role.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
  • Familiarity with project assurance roles and structured reporting models.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for risk and contingency planning.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure client expectations are met.
  • Deep understanding of contract management and budget control.
  • English – Full Professional Proficiency.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities: 

  • Lead and oversee the delivery of project deliverables according to scope, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including milestones, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Monitor development cadence and ensure that outputs align with project requirements.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Track overall progress, performance, and resource usage, taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain regular and structured communication with upper management, clients, and internal teams.
  • Ensure all reporting structures are followed and documentation is kept up to date.
  • Conduct project evaluation reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure a clear understanding of client expectations and align delivery to meet those needs.
  • Oversee budget execution and ensure adherence to financial and contractual commitments.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to manage changes in project scope or direction.
  • Promote continuous improvement by contributing to the development of project management best practices and lessons learned.

Qualifications

Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent.
