Despite having a loyal fan base, the NBA Sports team struggled with keeping fans engaged, especially when it came to their digital platforms. The team was striving to keep up with the ever-changing landscape of the NBA. Their internal CRM and operations tools were outdated, leaving them unable to make informed decisions for their players and coaches. They knew they needed a change.​

The NBA team sought the services of Applaudo to revamp their digital platforms, which encompass several key features such as ticket sales, exclusive content, e-commerce, and interactive gaming experiences.
